we live in a cruel world
that leads us into temptation, into lust
before we are ever ready
to deal with such things.

but isn't that the beauty in life. the rising up from the ashes?
the messes we created within ourselves
the complicated human mind always running away with thoughts we weren't prepared to fight.

i feel like this every day.
my mind filled with thoughts running away from me.
the internal struggle to stop thinking and just enjoy what is happening
